How do I know if my vehicle can tow a trailer?
Compare your vehicle's maximum towing capacity (found in the owner's manual or our database) with the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of the loaded trailer. Your trailer's total weight must be less than your vehicle's rated towing capacity. Also account for tongue weight (10 to 15% of trailer weight) which counts against your payload capacity.
